The Royal Flying Doctor Service Tasmanian Section is delighted to host the Launceston Chamber of Commerce and guests to a “Business After Hours” in the RFDS Hangar at Western Junction.
Guests will network in the Hangar and meet RFDS pilots, engineer and members of the RFDS Tasmanian Council.
If the Beechcraft King Air B200 is not flying to attend to patients, guests will be able to see the plane, which is a flying “intensive care” unit.
The President, Dr George Merridew, will brief members on the work of the RFDS in Tasmania, which includes supplying and maintaining the base at Launceston airport from which aerial ambulance services are provided to the Tasmanian and Bass Strait communities and supporting the Tasmanian community through a wide range of projects.
