Business Excellence Awards
Entry Tips
- Complete your entry online.
- Judges’ tip - the most successful entrants have been those that have engaged their staff in the process of completing the entry.
- Respond to questions concisely – dot point answers are preferred. 500 words per question should adequately represent your business.
- Your answers should demonstrate that you have formal (or informal) processes, plans and strategies in place to facilitate some of these key business practices.
- Need help? Contact the Chamber office – 6331 9364.
- The Judges ask that you follow the guidelines and answer the questions. If your answers are off track then this makes assessment of your entry difficult.
- Please consider the questions properly. In 2010 some entrants did things like “see answer presented for question 3”. What this tended to suggest is that applicants had not considered the question properly. Given that the judges read over 100 applications this makes it harder work for the judges if they have to keep referring back to other answers.
- Please keep in mind closely the category that you are entering e.g. if you are entering the Entrepreneurial category remember it implies that the judges are looking for something entrepreneurial. Determine the most suitable category or categories for your business/organisation.
I love Launceston for the great family lifestyle. All the fun activities we enjoy are close by.
