Launceston Chamber of Commerce Committees
To assist in the performance of its responsibilities, the Board has established the following committees:
• Executive Committee;
• Governance Committee;
• Infrastructure Committee;
• Economic Development Committee; and
• Communications & Membership.
Each committee operates under Terms of Reference approved by the Board. Committees can have delegated authority and make recommendations and provide reports to the Board on relevant issues.
The committees often deal with operational matters and bring to the Board recommendations, discussion and policy amendments for consideration.
In addition to its committees, the Board has established reference groups that meet as required to address relevant matters. At present the Board has established a Health Reference Group and an Education Reference Group.
