2009 UTAS Launceston Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Winners

LEIGH CUTHBERTSON from the University of Tasmania is the 2009 Winner of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

Leigh selected the course of Bachelor of Business of Economics for a number of reasons. "I chose business because my parents have owned and operated their own business for the last 13 years, where I have grown up around the business and been a part of it, making it a really strong interest for me. I have always had a love for numbers, the market and the economy and that has only grown more over the last year through working at Westpac and the economy as it is at the moment."

"The Launceston Chamber of Commerce Scholarship will help me to achieve my goals for the future... and really show off the benefits of a degree from Tasmania".
