Certificates of Origin

The Chamber can provide Certificates of Origin to Tasmanian exporters.  Please see below for a list of certificates provided and information of each certificate

This certificate is used for all countries other than the ones specified below which are specific to Free Trade Agreements.

Please complete the Information Form and return to the Chamber prior to requesting a Certificates of Origin. This form requests a list of Authorised Signatories and a Description of Goods for export. This only needs to be completed once, unless the details change.

Please provide proof of Australian origin for the Goods for export.

Please use the TAFTA Certificate of Origin for all goods being exported to THAILAND only. There are strict rules with regards to the Free Trade Agreement with Thailand.

Please complete the Authorised Signatories List and Deed of Declaration (which includes the description of all goods for export) and return to the Chamber. This only needs to be completed once, unless the details change.

TAFTA certificates require ORIGINAL SIGNATURES ONLY, scanned copies are not permitted.

Please supply proof of Australian origin to the Chamber for all goods for export.

AANZFTA Certificate of Origin (Australia and New Zealand Free Trade Agreement)

Please use this template Certificate of Origin for all goods being exported to BRUNEI, MYANMAR (BURMA), CAMBODIA, INDONESIA, LAOS, MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE AND VIETNAM. Scanned signatures are allowed.

Please complete the AANZFTA Information Form which includes a list of Authorised Signatories and a Description of Goods list. Please return to the Chamber prior to requesting a Certificate of Origin. This only needs to be completed once, unless the details change.

Please supply proof of Australian origin to the Chamber for all goods for export.

Fees

Certificate of Origin – Initial fee:

               Members:          $20 per certificate (including Express postage)
               Non-members:   $30 per certificate (including Express postage)

Re-issue of Certificate, eg lost certificate:

               Members:          $10 (including Express postage)
               Non-members:   $15 (including Express postage)
