Announcement by Liberal Party to reduce burden of land tax
The Launceston Chamber of Commerce welcomes today’s announcement by the Liberal Party of its intention to reduce the burden of land tax on all land owners and to abolish this tax by 2020.

With an election pending in early 2010 the Launceston Chamber of Commerce has written to the Premier David Bartlett, Will Hodgman, Leader of the Liberal Opposition and Nick McKim, Greens Opposition Leader seeking policy responses from all three leaders on issues that affect members and business in Launceston and the region.
